Calling all young bakers! Join us at **The Yellow Door Kitchen** for a fun, hands-on holiday baking class where kids will learn the art of making beautiful **petit four–sized French tarts** from scratch.

During this two-hour class, our young chefs will create two classic French-style tarts:

**Traditional French Custard & Fruit Tarts**
Learn to make crisp, buttery tart shells filled with silky French pastry cream and finished with a colourful selection of fresh seasonal fruit.

**Chocolate Ganache Tarts**
For the chocolate lovers! Kids will make petite tart shells filled with a rich, smooth chocolate ganache and learn how to finish and decorate their tarts beautifully.

Throughout the class, children will learn a range of valuable pastry skills, including making and handling sweet pastry, lining petite tart moulds, preparing traditional French pastry cream, making chocolate ganache and assembling and decorating their finished tarts.

This is a fully **hands-on class**, with plenty of opportunity to mix, bake, fill and decorate. Each child will take home a selection of their handmade petite French tarts to proudly share with family — if they make it that far!
